Description

Immaculate city centre apartment within an iconic building with concierge service, communal gardens, parking and gym access.

Description

The prestigious Dean Clarke House development was completed in 2015 with a vision by the developers to bring “Mayfair to Exeter” with the complete restoration of the former derelict site of the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital into a selection of stunning apartments which are designed and finished to a meticulous standard. Dean Clarke House is a rare gem in that it offers high end apartment living with a concierge service, gym access and immaculate communal grounds as well as lift and secure car park with charging points to the rear.

Apartment 7 was the original show home and really is unique in this building. Tucked away in a quiet position to the side of the building, it benefits from a southerly aspect and wonderful views over the communal lawns. This stunning ground floor apartment has been beautifully redesigned and decorated by the current owners to create an individual and enchanting space in the heart of the city.

The ground floor reception area within the main building offers a grand entrance with a concierge service. An impressive communal hall leads to Apartment 7. The private entrance hall is of excellent proportions with plenty of space for storage and door to the boiler cupboard. The real show stopper for this apartment is the stunning living room, with incredible high ceilings and an impressive ceiling to floor bay fronted, south facing windows overlooking the communal lawn to the side of Dean Clarke House. The electric blinds are an excellent and convenient feature.

The open plan living space has been thoughtfully designed to create a living area as well as good sized dining area and open plan kitchen which has been finished to an excellent standard. Beautiful Silestone worktops, hand finished wall and base units and high end appliances throughout the kitchen space create a modern and stylish feel with kitchen breakfast bar creating a natural boundary to the main living area.

Tall sash windows and wonderfully high ceilings flood the room with light. To the side of the living room is a cosy study/library area which could be used for a multitude of purposes. In addition, there is a staircase leading to a mezzanine area directly above, perfect for a home office or hobbies area (currently a cinema/TV area with drop down projector screen).

Two good sized double bedrooms are found at the other end of the hall, both enjoying high ceilings and wonderful sash windows with again, south facing aspect.

The principal bedroom benefits from a beautifully designed, modern en suite shower room, built-in wardrobes and shelving. In addition, there is a family bathroom with modern freestanding bath and WC.

Within Dean Clarke House is a gym available to all residents, an opportunity for a serviced office space if desired (subject to availability), basement storage and allocated parking with an electric car charging point.
