The farm consists of 17 hectares listed irrigated land consisting of 10 fenced camps under permanent sprinklers (12 hectares), 15 hectares of dry land and approximately 100 hectares of fynbos. As far as water is concerned, the farm is served by a perennial spring which is licensed for 15 000 litres per hour withdrawal. The water is stored in two new enclosed corrugated iron storage reservoirs (2 x 315 cubic metres). This gravitates to the irrigable fields. The newly erected holding kraal and race with neck clamp has a capacity of 40 cattle.
A 452 square metre (0.5 hectare) state of the art aquaponic system consisting of a 16 media beds, 180 Dutch buckets and 12 deep water beds is serviced by 400 kg tilapia and barbel is housed in 6 x 1.8 cubic litre heated containers. This modern system was erected at the cost of R1 300 000. The nutrient rich water is utilized to produce various organic vegetables and herbs. Sufficient land has already been cleared and prepared to expand the aquaponic system 3 times.
The farm is divided into 15 grazing camps in good condition Currently there 90 Boer goats and a small herd of 9 Brangus cattle which can be enlarged. The 3 goat rams are from the Whitehead Stud in Bathurst. The fencing has been well maintained ensuring potential for sheep farming.
The farm will be sold as a going concern INCLUDING all implements, machinery and vehicles such as: 2020 Isuzu KB 250 single cab bakkie, 375 Massey Ferguson tractor (re-conditioned with 600 hours), Massey Ferguson X35 tractor (re-conditioned with 55 hours), 25 KvA standby generator, 2 brush cutters, wood chipper with engine on wheels, 600 litre Agrico sprayer, bush fire extinguisher on two wheel wagon, compressor, 3 point scraper, 3 point disk, 5 tooth ripper, 20 dish hydraulic disk, 3 point fertilizer spreader on wheels, Kongskilde tooth implement, Yamaha side by side UTV, amongst others.
The farm is patrolled by a security company together with 5 large dogs around the dwellings.
In addition to the above, the farm has the potential for commercial Protea cultivation and berry production and guest house accommodation. The current accommodation could be converted to beautiful Farm style cottages so the farm could become a self sustainable Guest farm with hiking , horse- and cycling trails with Conference facilities.
