The Old Post Office is situated at the top of the hill in East Worlington village, a short stroll from the church, the active and beautiful village hall and the excellent primary school.
Over the last 5 years the Old PO has been comprehensively repaired, with Listed Building Consent, using lime and traditional natural materials throughout. Works have included entirely new plumbing, wiring and heating system, rebuilt chimney, thatch, the removal of cement render and unsuitable paints and plaster and replacement with lime. However the house retains an ‘untouched’ vintage air.

Areas of lawn on two levels with a grassy slope between. Flower beds, an apple tree and a pear tree. Plenty of mature trees around the garden.
Beyond the house and barn there is a former privy, and a path leads round to the North side of the house (currently overgrown in summer!) There is a gravel path all along the back of the house with a raised bank beside it. This ends up at the back of the garage.
Garage Old wooden garage, a bit on the small side, but could easily be enlarged in both directions as adjoining land also owned. The garage doors act as an informal village noticeboard. Beside the garage a small patch of land holds the village fingerpost. Next to that is a substantial cob outbuilding, currently divided into two stores, each about 10’x 9’. The second store is accessed from the parking space beyond it, which also forms part of the property.
