The old medieval market town of Condom, with its famed amargnac production, is also easily accessible.  You might also like to explore the riverside town of Valence-sur-Baïse, particularly if it’s a good day for a riverside walk and picnic.  Agen is just 27km away, here you can hop onto a TGV fast train direct into Paris.  Bordeaux and Toulouse airports are both options for international travels.
