Ball Hill is a popular small hamlet, just south west of Newbury. There is a garden center, garage and a public house in the village itself and further amenities can be found in nearby Highclere, Kintbury and Woolton Hill, both the latter of which have a primary school and doctors’ surgery.

Ball Hill is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to the popular Wayfarers Walk, and is surrounded by beautiful undulating countryside providing access for wonderful walking, riding and cycling .

Newbury offers extensive amenities including various large supermarkets, numerous restaurants and cafes and a wide selection of shops, as well as racing at Newbury racecourse, golf courses and the theatres.
