Ball Hill is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to the popular Wayfarers Walk, and is surrounded by beautiful undulating countryside providing access for wonderful walking, riding and cycling .

Newbury offers extensive amenities including various large supermarkets, numerous restaurants and cafes and a wide selection of shops, as well as racing at Newbury racecourse, golf courses and the theatres.

There is a wide choice of schools in the area both private and state, the latter including Cheam, Downe House, Horris Hill, St. Gabriel's, Estree and Bradfield College.

Communications to London and the West Country are excellent with easy road access to the A34, M4, A303 and M3. There is a direct train service from Newbury into London Paddington, linking with the recently opened Elizabeth Line providing fast (23 minutes) access across London to the West End and City.
