The Black Bull Inn is located in the historic market town of Middleham. Accessed via the A6108 and 12 miles south of Richmond, North Yorkshire, the town lies in Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales and is famous for its racehorse training centre and nearby castle. Middleham has enjoyed recent population growth and has a thriving tourist industry. It is surrounded by holiday parks, affluent villages, country walks and tourist attractions. This pub is very popular with locals and tourists alike.

The premises is a semi-detached public house situated in a rural market town. It is a three-storey property understood to date from the late 17th century and is of stone construction under a pitched slate roof.

Entrance to the front from the market square into the smaller BAR. This area retains plenty of charm and character with wooden flooring and original wood beams.

Leading through to the main BAR AREA and traditional wooden SERVERY with multifuel fireplace, stone flooring and wood beams giving the room plenty of charm and character. Left of the main bar is the SNUG AREA, with an inglenook fireplace, wood beams and wooden flooring.
