Description

This attractive and modern home was constructed in 2011 and is presented to a high standard throughout with some lovely countryside views from the front windows, especially on the first floor. Whilst officially classed as semi-detached the house very much has the look of a detached home when viewed from the front. The impressive front elevation is stone clad with uPVC sash windows and is reminiscent of the Georgian era with the remaining elevations having a painted render finish below a tiled roof. Despite being a modern property the current owners have put their own stamp on it having recently replaced the kitchen and utility room including the flooring, and carpets. The décor has also recently been refreshed with a contemporary theme throughout.

Accommodation briefly comprises of a kitchen/dining room with utility room, sitting room and a cloakroom/WC off the entrance hall to the ground floor. The first floor has three bedrooms including an ensuite main bedroom and family bathroom off the landing. Outside there is parking and a single garage and a sunny south-west facing garden.

If you are looking for a well finished, comfortable and efficient modern home that is ready to move into then this is definitely one to consider.

Accommodation

Approaching from the front paved steps rise to the front door which opens to the welcoming entrance hall off which is the cloakroom/WC. The kitchen/dining room which has recently been made over with a comprehensive range of new storage units in light beige above and below the oak veneer work surfaces with a Belfast style ceramic sink. Fitted appliances include an induction hob with extractor over and electric oven/grill below. There is an integrated fridge/freezer and space for a dishwasher. The utility room has also been updated to the same standard with matching units providing plenty of additional storage and space for washing and drying machines. There is further storage accessed from the utility in the space below the stairs. Smart oak effect Karndean flooring adds the finishing touch throughout the kitchen and utility room. The kitchen/diner is a lovely light room thanks to the dual south-westerly aspect and the patio doors which open to the garden.

The sitting room is off the other side of the entrance hall and also has a dual aspect to the front and side with an electric fire providing a warming focal point. The widow to the front takes in the views over the hedge opposite to the countryside beyond.

Stairs rise from the entrance hall to the first floor landing off which are the three bedrooms and a useful storage cupboard. The main bedroom is of a good size and has some wonderful views to the front over the surrounding fields and countryside. The room has fitted wardrobes and a modern ensuite shower room comprising of a shower cubicle, wash basin and WC plus a heated towel rail. Bedroom two also takes in the lovely rural views to the front and has a storage cupboard. There is a large loft space accessed from the landing.

Outside

The sunny south west facing garden is mostly laid to lawn with planted boarders. A decked terrace is located off the side of the house which is accessed through French doors from the kitchen/dinner and provides plenty of space for garden furniture, ideal for entertaining and al fresco dining. The garden has a good degree of privacy and is enclosed by wooden close-board fencing and the side wall of the garage that has a wisteria trained over it.

The garage and parking is situated at the end of the garden with a garden gate providing direct access. There is useful storage in the garage roof space, and behind the garage is a paved terrace which would make a good place to site a garden shed if required, or a sheltered spot for a table and chairs.
