Owners' comments...

I purchased the property as a renovation project in 2014. Nestled in a quiet, family-friendly cul-de-sac I tried to thoughtfully transform and modernise it into a spacious, inviting space offering a blend of modern living and cosy comfort.
The extended living area includes a newly built front porch, a utility room, and a modern downstairs bathroom. The open-plan downstairs is ideal for entertaining, featuring a light, airy kitchen with ample worktop space, plenty of storage, and bifold doors that connect the house to a good-sized garden.
Upstairs, the renovation continues with a new bathroom, upgraded radiators, and freshly decorated walls. The loft, featuring a dormer window, offers versatile space for storage, a studio, or a home office, with potential for a fourth bedroom with the right permissions.
Gage Close provides excellent access to local amenities, with Maidenhead town centre and station less than a 15-minute walk away. Additional amenities include a doctor’s, pharmacy, and a newly built leisure centre just a walk over the golf course. Several reputable schools are also nearby, making this an ideal home for families.
After a decade of enjoyment here it is time to welcome a new family to appreciate its warmth and potential and make it their home. Come see how it can be the perfect setting for your family’s future.

Stuart's comments...

Credit to the current owner, the extension, remodel and refurbish of the kitchen to this open plan shaker style is absolutely stunning. There's a row of sky-lights across the back and bi-fold doors opening into the garden which is a great size, and could really be made into something quite special with the right vision. While the living room is open plan into the dining room, there's a nice degree of separation still so there's a lovely flow to the house. There's also a lovely big entrance hall, downstairs loo, and a utility with side access into the garden. Upstairs there's three great sized bedrooms, two of which are big doubles, and the family bathroom with two windows and a lovely splash of character in the finish. The loft has been converted to create a bonus room - perfect for use as an office or games room if you want. On top of that the location is lovely in a quiet cul-de-sac and there's plenty of parking to the front as well.

Area comments...
It's the perfect location to be a 15 minute walk to the station and town centre, without having to endure the busyness of living any closer! Maidenhead is currently undergoing a vast regeneration project with plenty of bars, boutiques and supermarkets already in place, and thanks to the excellent transportation links into London, it's fast becoming the commuter town of choice for people of all ages. Now part of the Elizabeth "Lizzy" underground line, and already offering train links direct to Paddington in under 20 minutes, as well as having access direct to the M4 just a couple of minutes away by car. Windsor, Marlow, Cookham and the neighbouring villages & hamlets are all within easy reach, as well as a wealth of country side walks and the Thames Path snaking it's way throughout the local area as well.
