6.7 miles away, the historic town centre of Shrewsbury offers a further range of amenities including an excellent range of shopping, leisure and social facilities and a number of restaurants and bars. There is also the Theatre Severn and the popular Quarry Park where there are a number of events held throughout the year. Schooling in the area is excellent within both the state and private sectors including Shrewsbury School and Shrewsbury High School for Girls, Prestfelde and Old Hall.
