We’ve lived in the house for twenty eight years having moved from Hammersmith in search of more space and a bigger garden. We used the top floor as offices for our TV production company for a number of years but mainly the house has been the most wonderful family home. We’ve luxuriated in the spacious, light-filled rooms and the large garden and we’ve enjoyed the brilliant location. There’s a lovely park at the bottom of the road and Churchfield Road with its independent shops, bars, cafés and restaurants is a 5 minute walk. And we now have an independent cinema - the ActOne - in easy walking distance. At one stage we were members of the David Lloyd health club  (a 5 minute walk away) but now we go running in the park instead. Transport-wise it’s really well connected. The overground station (Richmond - Stratford line) is at the bottom of the road, the Elizabeth line is a 15 minute walk and then it’s only 11 mins to Bond Street, 25 mins to Canary Wharf.  There’s a Perryn Rd neighbours’ WhatsApp group and for the last two years a very kind neighbour has given a party for people in the road to get together. We’ll be so sad to leave the house but our children have grown up and moved out and it’s time  to downsize - we hope to a smaller house nearby because we’ve been so happy in the friendly neighbourhood.
