Pylos is only 5 minutes (3km) drive away. Pylos is a beautiful small town with port and marina. It has shops, restaurants, cafes and banks which are situated around a lovely central square, shaded by century old plane trees. It also boasts an impressive castle.
Gialova village, 8 minutes’ drive away, has high quality beach-side restaurants, some housed in old stone warehouses, coffee shops, bars, stores, supermarkets and three filling stations/garages.
Methoni, 15 minutes by car, is an old trading port, with Venetian castle and Finikounda is about 20 minutes by car, where visitors can enjoy the blue waters sandy beaches.
The nearest signature golf course of Costa Navarino and W hotel & Mandarin Oriental Hotel Costa Navarino are 10 minutes drive away.
It takes 50 minutes to drive to the international airport and the hospital of Kalamata which is the administrative capital of the area. Kalamata has a port, large yachting marina and motorway access to Athens. An amazing villa you have to visit!
