The Granary is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Mark Cross about 5 miles south of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Frant and Tunbridge Wells mainline stations offer frequent direct services into London Bridge, Charing Cross and Cannon Street as well as the Sussex coast. Eridge Station also provides services to London Bridge and Victoria.

The A22 and the A26 to the west and the A21 to the east provide access to the south coast and the M25 and thence motorway network, Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted airports, the Channel Tunnel Terminus and ports.

Secondary schools include The Beacon Academy (Crowborough), Heathfield and Uplands (Wadhurst) community colleges, Kent grammar schools and further schools in Tunbridge Wells.
