Stotfold is a growing town and civil parish in Bedfordshire, close to the county border with Hertfordshire. The town is 3 miles from Baldock, 3.4 miles from Letchworth, 6 miles from Hitchen and 12 miles from Royston, with excellent commuter links to London via train or via the A1M and M25.

Stotfold continues to enjoy many historical buildings of interest, including the oldest surviving building, St Mary’s Parish Church, which dates back to the Norman era and still holds regular services and many community activities. There is a baby and toddler group held there, alongside coffee mornings, fellowship lunches and other events. Randall’s Mill is another beautiful historical building, dating back to the 1800s, and sitting beside the River Ivel. The Mill is adjoined by an 8-acre nature reserve with plantings of trees, hedges and a wildflower meadow, and it is a wonderful day out for all the family!

Most of the town's shops and businesses are situated along and just off the High Street and include a supermarket with post office, takeaways, estate agents, hairdresser, florist, launderette, electrical goods shop, pharmacy, bakers and clothes alterations shop.
