Location

Northleach is a small historic market town situated about nine miles from the market town of Cirencester. Tucked away just off the A40, between undulating hills, it stands at a crossroads on the Roman Fosse Way, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The streets in and around the ancient market place are rich in architectural interest ranging from half-timbered Tudor houses to merchants’ stores. Northleach has an excellent variety of shops including an award-winning butcher, a vintner, a chemist and a Post Office. The town also benefits from a doctor’s surgery, primary school, nursery, a magnificent medieval church and the well-regarded Wheatsheaf Inn. A lively charter market is held every Wednesday and the Charter Fair is held annually.

Junction 11A of the M5 motorway is about 16 miles away giving access to Bristol and Birmingham, and junction 15 of the M4 about 26 miles away giving access to London.
