Displaying a wealth of exposed timbers and with large inglenook fireplaces, the property offers surprisingly high ceilings and light and well laid out accommodation, with most of the rooms enjoying attractive views across the gardens and meadow.

The accommodation extends to over 2,700 sq ft, to offer the main sitting room with substantial inglenook fireplace, fine chamfered timbers and doors to the garden terrace beyond, a triple aspect drawing room with large inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove, a study, along with the well-proportioned dining room, accessed via an original stable door from the sitting room, with a return door to the kitchen.
The double aspect and newly fitted kitchen affords lovely garden views, with utility/ boot room beyond.

A staircase from the entrance hall leads to a spacious and light first floor landing. The double aspect principal bedroom features built-in wardrobes and an en suite bathroom. There are two further double bedrooms on this floor plus a single bedroom/dressing room, along with the family bathroom. A wide staircase rises to a bright second floor landing accessing two further double bedrooms and a useful attic room. A Velux window on the landing provides excellent views across the valley.

OUTSIDE

Yew Tree Farm House sits amidst extensive and mature gardens, bordered by established hedging and with a variety of specimen trees. Approached over a shingle drive with parking and turning courtyard to the side of the house, fronting onto which is a large, traditional timber framed barn with workshop, potting shed and double garage.

The barn presently provides garaging and general storage with flexibility and potential for conversion to a variety of annexe or office uses, (STP). The immediate gardens are mainly laid to lawn and interspersed with mature and colourful herbaceous and shrub borders, along with a brick terrace and to the side, a further area of enclosed garden,

Abutting the gardens is a 1.8 acre meadow, which itself is enclosed by natural hedgerow and further mature trees, and which at present, is home to an established glamping site, consisting of 6 bell tents, large stretch tent, along with buildings housing games room/kitchen and washing facilities. A driveway provides separate access and parking for numerous vehicles, with a field gate leading to the meadow. The business is available by separate negotiation and further details and images can be found via the website; savageglamping.com
