Both Heathrow and Gatwick airports are equally accessible;, and the south coast is just over 20 miles away. The Herons leisure centre and swimming pool are just across the other side of Sturt Road. Excellent mobile signal and fast broadband make it ideal for home working too. There's ample car parking beside the cottage. Originally built to home workers at the local water mill means it remains free from water rates, a worthwhile cost saving.

The house is unfurnished but includes all kitchen appliances - dishwasher, washing machine, electric/gas range cooker, microwave and large fridge/freezer. Efficient gas central heating and full double-glazing.

It has attractive private gardens at the front and back, with the option to grow a few vegetables in a small bed if you wish. There are two lawns and a relaxing paved patio sheltered by a flowering cherry tree and overlooking a small brook in which fish can be watched (from your own wooden bridge!). Beyond the garden boundary are several acres of conservation woodland where deer are regularly seen - the last photo in our selection was shot from the bedroom window!

The cottage is very economical to run, and in particular there are no water rates to pay, ever! RESTRICTIONS: Please note that no pets of any kind are allowed, nor any smokers, and it cannot be recommended for small toddlers due to the potential hazards of the the bridge and the stream.
