This area of the Brecon Beacons National Park is known for its rugged outcrops and rolling countryside; and more particularly the fantastic walks and outdoor opportunities afforded to the many enthusiast that visit each year. The Four Water Fall Walk is considered one of the best waterfall walks in Britain with delightful riverside trails along the Afon Mellte and a series of roaring waterfalls. The area is also known for its caves, just a short distance away is Porth yr Ogof - the biggest cave entrance in Wales. A little further away is Dan yr Ogof which has the largest show cave complex in the UK.
