"We’ve loved living here! We love the character of the house, especially the cottage vibes, exposed beams and the gas log burner. We love the fact it’s set back from the road, with the trees making it feel lovely and private. It’s incredibly quiet at night. I love watching the birds from the main bedroom in the morning. In the palm tree, it is home to young baby birds.

The sun hits the front of the house in the morning and sets at the back of the house in the evening.

The house is, maximum, a two-minute walk from the train station that can get you to Manchester in 25 minutes or Blackpool in 45 minutes directly.

We also go into Westhoughton often. They have some great pubs, restaurants and cafes that are no more than a 5-minute walk away, great for having one or two at the pub and walking home afterwards. The main high street is always busy during the day and in the evening.

There is a park close by with a really good children’s play area and a huge field for the dog to have a run around. There’s also some basketball, football and tennis courts on Central Park too.

There is a school opposite that has been rated outstanding by Ofsted and it's a very popular school.

Westhoughton itself is a very diverse and an up-and-coming town with a busy high street and lots of shops and other businesses that are ideal for either a young family, professional or mature couple."
