Description

   EPC rating D

What we thought about the property

We were totally wowed by the views afforded by this fantastic 4 bedroom family home, it was really breath         taking.
In our opinion the vendors have really taken every opportunity to maximixe the views and outside                         space. Whether it be from the large elevated terrace, balcony from the master bedroom or by opening                 the kitchen to show off the extensive gardens through the bi-fold doors.
As you would expect the property offers both practical and stylish internal accommodation throughout. So         why not take your virtual tour and then book your private viewing and see why this should be your forever           home.

We asked the owners about their beautiful property and they provided us with the following information.

  1. What attracted you to the property when you bought it ?
The stunning far reaching panoramic views over the Kentish countryside, along with the very peaceful                   location and we could see the potential to make the house a wonderful family home once extended and               refurbished.

    2.  What improvements have you made to the house ?

Extended to add the large kitchen (solid wooden units and granite worktops) and opened up to make a                large kitchen diner.
Added a new garage to the other side of the house.
New double glazed windows throughout and bi-fold doors to the kitchen.
Landscaped the rear garden including terracing with re-enforced gabion steel cages on two levels.                        Replaced old wooding decking and balcony with high quality TREX composite decking / balcony with                  frameless toughened glass balustrade.
Replaced both family and en-suite bathrooms.
        Rewired electrics.
Re-plastered and redecorated throughout and new carpets on stairs and upstairs hallway and bedrooms.            New front door will be fitted at the end of July 2024.

What have you enjoyed about living there ?

The views, the peace and quiet, entertaining space on the decking and inside in the kitchen / diner, the                rural ambience yet close to town, closeness to good schools and easy commute into London and nice                  neighbours / sense of community.

        Location

The Croft, 11 Argyle Road is in a quiet location at the end of a cul-du-sac yet within walking distance of the          local amenities in Southborough with restaurants, shops including Tesco Express, hairdressers, The                      Common and open countryside.
