Description

Enjoying terrific rural views, set in a beautiful plot of 0.36 acre, offered at a competitive price and set in the delightful village of Eaton, a large detached bungalow with double garage and studio

Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman

The great thing about marketing individual property is that no two scripts you write are ever the same! And when it comes to something completely different, there is no better property to view than this really super individual residence.

The key point to note is that the location of this home is really excellent. Eaton is a much admired village, two miles from Tarporley village centre and boasts a lovely array of diverse housing, all in the context of beautiful countryside surrounding. This particular property is an elevated position enjoying spectacular views and has a plot that extends to 0.36 acre in total.

The gardens are a real feature here having been lovingly landscaped, developed, planned and cared for over many years and in the Spring and Summer providing an abundance of colour and maturity. With the plot wrapping around the dwelling, there are plenty of different areas to sit and enjoy food and drink whilst taking advantage of the moving sun.

The property itself is substantially single storey, comprising a detached bungalow, though there is one upstairs element, that being a fabulous versatile studio decked out in the style of a Scandinavian lodge and also having its own roof terrace.

The layout of the bungalow can either be three or four bedrooms to suit the requirements of a buyer so the versatility is really notable. The main reception room is over 27 feet in length, has a large feature window and faces south easterly.

The overall space, including the integral double garage is 2321 square feet. Interested parties will note that a dwelling of this size, combined with the size of the plot and the location, is priced extremely competitively. This is a great credit to the vendors, who recognise that the property now requires significant capital expenditure and time to fully realise the vast potential that is on offer here. And what exciting potential there is!

I feel that the chance to customise the layout and internal finishes is a really special and rare one and that once works are complete, this will be a landmark local property which will deliver a wonderful lifestyle home. This has been a home that has provided great joy and delight to the owners through many years standing and is now offered for sale with no ongoing chain.

A property of rare distinction, I anticipate significant market interest.
