The Parc de la Brenne is noted for its 4000+ lakes and ponds which are home to a huge array of wildlife. The Parc headquarters are nearby, from where an annual programme of outdoor events, hikes, concerts, children’s activities and water sports are managed across the parc. The region is home to many chateaux which are open to the public and known nationally as the home of France’s finest goat’s cheese from producers at Pouligny-Saint-Pierre.

There are fast rail services to Paris and the south via Poitiers, Argenton-sur-Creuse and Chateauroux. The A20 autoroute is 30 mins away and there are international and national air connections from three airports nearby: Poitiers, Limoges and Tours.
