ABOUT THE PROPERTY

A fine example of a charming and elegant semi-detached Victorian cottage encompassing a wealth of character features, close to the heart of the pretty and very desirable small town of Dulverton. This deceptively spacious and beautifully presented home has been tastefully refurbished to a superb standard retaining many of its traditional features. Set elevated with a secluded feel the property enjoys a pleasant south westerly facing aspect.

Approached from Lady Street, steps lead up to a very pretty enclosed walled garden to the front of the cottage with an abundance of flower beds and shrubs producing a fantastic array of colour. There is a small lawned area and paved patio with useful log store and store shed. There is also a side pedestrian access.

A rose and wisteria covered porch leads to a welcoming entrance hallway with stairs rising to first floor, a smart and high quality kitchen/dining room, a spacious sitting room with two sash windows and a feature fireplace containing a woodburning stove. An opening leads to an attractive snug space fitted with bespoke shelving and store cupboards. This provides access to a useful utility room with understairs cupboard, cloakroom and rear entrance porch. The first floor provides two double bedrooms and a smartly appointed traditional style bathroom.

Parking permits are available to the residents of Dulverton. Opposite is a single yellow line allowing parking after 6pm and before 8am.

For layout and approximate room measurements please see the enclosed floorplan and Virtual Tour.
