Located in the Village of Rhydymwyn on Vicarage Road, Marwin is tucked back from the main road, haha I say main Road, it is hardly a main road, and is nestled in between a half dozen other characterful houses.

A high brick wall and wood panel fences greet you, while a set of wrought iron gates draw you into the gorgeous front yard. A long white gravel driveway and paving stone path sit parallel to a long and wide lawn, bordered by decorative beds on one side and a hedgerow to the other. The driveway continues all the way into the rear garden, where there is a detached garage.....which may need some jiggling about in order to get it storing cars again!

At the head of the drive and lawn stands the bungalow. Sitting proud over the garden, it's raised high on a classic red brick foundation, with white rendering around the outside. What makes it stand out from its neighbours, well one of two things really, is the beautiful red tiled roof, capping it off and giving it a sunny country cottage look, but with a very modern flair.

I think the second thing that makes it stand out from the others, is the high vaulted ceilings that has floor to roof glass, bringing this bungalow kicking and screaming into the 21st Century.

As we walk up the front steps to the bungalow, you approach two sets of doors. Immediately in front of you are the double doors into the lounge, and to the right is the front door into the main part of the home.

Opening the front door, we step into a long, spacious hallway with doors leading to all the different rooms and with some nooks for cabinets and drawers. A plush carpet and crisp white walls keep the room bright and airy, flowing through the bungalow and keeping it modern and very comfortable.

The first door on the left leads into the lounge, and what a beautiful, airy room this is. With high vaulted ceilings and massive floor to ceiling windows, this room is spectacular, to say the least!

You're captivated by the views out over the generous front garden and the room is saturated by the sunlight that floods in, thanks to those fabulous windows. There is a set of double doors that open out onto a raised veranda section, where you can sit and admire your domain! There is a fabulous log burner sitting inside an exposed brick built chimney stack, which is not only aesthetically pleasing by casting out an orange flickering glow on a cold winters night, but it also helps keep this space nice and toasty too. This is a perfect, cozy room for kicking back and relaxing after a hard day in life!

To the right is the front main bedroom with a large window that looks out over the front garden. With the light décor and soft furnishings to help keep it light and cozy, it also offers ample space for a king-sized bed and some storage. There is also an en-suite shower room.

Finished off to the highest of standards, as we've come to expect in this home, this is an En-suite that most main bathrooms can only dream of. A large pane of glass sections the double shower off, with a 'Norman Bates' shower head and a separate hand held shower attachment to help you get to those hard to reach places. There's a stylish vanity sink unit and of course the obligatory toilet, that we just couldn't do without. A chrome heated towel rail is there to keep your towels toasty and a frosted window helps provide natural light in and keep prying eyes out.

Next on the left is a generous storage room, almost big enough to be a room in itself, I've seen smaller third bedrooms in some houses! This is perfect for storing all your bits and bobs that you don't want on display but need on a day to day basis: things like the hoover, dustpan and brush, coats and shoes, relatives, etc......

Further along on the right is another double bedroom. Just as generous as the last, it's another snug and cosy room. The window looks out over the side of the home, so it's nice and private due to the outer hedge of the driveway.

Directly opposite this bedroom, is another bedroom that is almost as big as the last, but again slightly smaller, but by a margin. Easily accommodating a double bed and free standing furniture, this would be the main bedroom in any new build home of today.

The next room on the right, is the fourth bedroom. It's the smallest of the bedrooms but, you could still fit a three quarter bed in with storage units, so it's still a fantastic size with plenty to offer! It has a window which looks out over the rear backyard.

At the head of the hallway stands the family bathroom. Not the largest bathroom I've ever been in, but it fits everything that you need in a bathroom, in perfectly. Finished in a beautiful Olive green, you have a panelled bath, vanity sink unit and toilet, all being the latest models. An exposed brick wall on one side blends in well with the other fully tiled walls and floor, there for easy cleaning.

Stepping out of the bathroom and turning right, we enter into what we'll call the hub of the home - if the lounge wasn't so amazing, I'd have said that this would be the all year round room......but I'd be torn between the two of them, if I lived here.

The first section we walk into is, the snug. I call it that because you can easily fit an array of comfy sofas or just one large L-Shaped one if you prefer. This is a space where the party goers can sit before dinner or snacks are served. It's a social place for family or friends to enjoy, while the Chef prepares the masterpiece. A large window looks out over the side aspect but also helps to keep this large space very bright.

From the snug we step into the dining area of the kitchen. Comfortably large enough to house a six seat table and chairs, but could easily take much larger, so if entertaining lots of people is your thing, then TICK, that's box is checked off.

Opposite where the table and chairs go is a breakfast bar area, which can accommodate a couple of bar stools......seriously, if you buy this home you'll be the go to for Christmas, Birthdays, Yom Kippur, Hanukkah, Ramadan and any other holidays where people gather! There's a back door leading out into the rear Sunroom - but I'll get back to that in a mo.

At the far end of the room is the kitchen. Kitted out with fabulous bespoke floor and wall mounted storage units, it offers everything that you'll need in order to create some culinary materpieces. There's a void for a huge American style fridge / freezer and ample worksurfaces for all of your 21st gadgets that we accumulate on a day to day basis. This kitchen come dining area and snug is simply gorgeous!

Stepping through the last door in this room, which I haven't pointed out yet in this write-up, is how lovely all of the solod oak wooden doors are, we enter into the utility room.

The utility room has a handy worksurface and under are tow voids for the washing machine and tumble dryer. Cupboards above provide more storage space, something I don't think will be a problem in this home. The final door opens to reveal..
.
Another shower room. This is a real act of genius as, when people are over socialising in the garden, this one is tucked away and it stops them bringing in a mess each time they come back inside to use the loo.

From the kitchen we step out into the Sunroom, and what a great space this is. You could put a table and chairs in here, or some nice comfy armchairs so that you can sit, drink some wine and read a good book. This room has endless possibilities - you decide what's best for you.

The rear garden is made up of several patios at different heights. Directly outside the Sunroom is one section, with a wooden Gazebo to offer shelter on a rainy day perhaps. A ramp raises to the detached garage, which again can offer a multitude of uses, other than storing a car.

Up a few steps and we reach the larger raised patio area. This feels like a private members section, fenced off to three sides and with hedges and shrubs, there's even a wooden summer house, ideal for Yoga or meditating or just sitting out of the sun.

This is a home that just keeps on giving....and giving in real comfort and style too....if you want dreams to come true, then it's probably time to take a look inside.....it'll be well worth it!

If Carlsberg made homes, they'd probably make them like this, it is absolutely stunning. If you love to entertain friends and entertain in style then TICK, it has got a stunning kitchen that opens into a dining area, capable of taking a very large table and chairs, it then opens into a snug where your friends can sit and enjoy your company while you slave away at the stove, and that's not the best of it, the lounge comes with vaulted ceilings and windows to match overlooking the large front garden, and lets not forget the four bedrooms the three bathrooms, a huge storage cupboard, there's a Sunroom.....OMG it's like being on the Generation Game....what have I missed out......go and see it, it's definitely worth it......a Cuddly Toy, let's not forget that Brucey!
