Vendor Comments

"My young family and I moved to this lovely family home in Hampton-in-Arden almost 50yrs ago. We moved from a busy area of Birmingham where I worked to the pretty Solihull countryside as my job relocated to Coventry. The fast and frequent rail links from Hampton train station enabled me to commute to both areas very easily. Our home is in a quiet cul-de-sac just a short stroll to the centre of the village with all its amenities and transport links. We loved gardening and added on the conservatory to enjoy it more throughout the summer. The extended spacious double length garage was a huge convenience for storage and for up to two cars. We also have the added bonus of a direct secure access to a public footpath at the bottom of the rear garden. This creates a shortcut especially to walk to the wonderful village Infant and Junior school, Hampton Train station and Hampton Sports club within a few minutes. My wife enjoyed working in the village for various businesses for many years and we made many life long friends with local residents. My children enjoyed growing up in Hampton and attended the excellent Infant and Junior school and also made many friends in Elm Tree Rise and the village. The area is very safe and they enjoyed playing in the local play areas, sports clubs, and down at the nearby River Blythe nature reserve. There is a wonderful local community spirit in Hampton with many social events and activities for all ages.

Hampton is so well located with Birmingham Airport, NEC, Birmingham International train station, Solihull and the M42 all within a 10mins drive. Once completed the new HS2 Interchange station next to the NEC will enable a commute to central London in just 38mins.

Now I am retired and my children have their own homes I have downsized to a much smaller local property. I believe this house will continue to make such a lovely happy home for the next owners as it did for us for at least another 50yrs."
