Half Moon is a charming Grade II listed house thought to date from the late 16th century. It was once the village inn and shop until the 1960s when it was bought by the artist Jeanne du Maurier and poet Noel Welch. They lived at Half Moon until their deaths in 1997 and 2017 respectively.
