Within a mile are the villages of Hatherope and Quenington. Together, these three sought-after villages have a good range of amenities, from village shops and a Post Office, two good pubs and an extensive footpath network.

For schooling, Orchard House is just 1 miles from the well-renowned Hatherop Castle Prep School and in addition, there are excellent state schools within 2 – 3 miles.

Bibury, described by Williams Morris as ‘the most beautiful village in England’ is just 3 miles away and also supports a great range of local amenities including The Swan Hotel.

Nearby Cirencester, often referred to as the ‘Capital of The Cotswolds’, is under 10 miles away and provides excellent boutique shops, restaurants and two supermarkets, including Waitrose. The town was mentioned in the Doomsday Book and traders still set up their stalls every Monday and Friday.

Contributing to the area’s appeal are the convenient transport links with easy access to the M40 via the A40 and to the M4 via the A419. There are also train links from Kemble Station (about 13 miles) to London Paddington in about 75 minutes. The area is well-situated for some of the best schools in the
