Location
The village of Corfe Castle is overlooked by the ruins of its historic castle built in 1086, perched above the village on the hill. It is suggested that some of the stones from the castle ruins were used in the building of the village, offering a new slant on the saying ‘your home is your castle’ and making the village one of the most popular in Dorset.
