The minute we saw this house in Ducketts Mead being built back in March 2008 we knew it would be our perfect home for our growing family. We spent 16 years extending and taking excellent care of it. Love the light that comes through it at every angle of this house. Full south facing garden. Great place for socialising and enjoying quiet times. Due to difficult period I am heartbroken to have to sell it especially leaving my amazing neighbours. It is a true family street. I really hope this house will bring to the next owner as much love and happiness that we have been so fortunate to experience. Grateful for all the wonderful memories

We'll start from the top down, where you've got two big double bedrooms and a shower room on the top floor, spread around a lovely big landing area. The first floor has two double bedrooms and a great size single, as well as two bathrooms with one serving as an en-suite to the main bedroom. Again, there's a lovely big landing space here, and all the bathrooms are in absolutely lovely condition. the ground floor has a beautifully big and bright entrance hall with a living room off to one side that opens onto a nice raised decking area in the garden. To the other side of the hallway and through sliding glass doors there's the kitchen breakfast room with a feature green backsplash, an island with a breakfast bar, and underfloor heating flowing through to the conservatory that lends itself perfectly for a more formal dining area. The garden is a sunny aspect and low maintenance, and you've got access into the garage which has been part converted to create a utility space as well. There's a huge amount of accommodation at over 1600sqf and the location is awesome!

Shinfield is always a popular area thanks to it's proximity to Reading & Wokingham as well as the excellent transport links with the M4 & Green Park just a short distance away. There are plenty of local shops & pubs nearby as well as plenty of beautiful walks. We might be a little biased here as Dan used to live in Ducketts Mead, but we can absolutely attest to what an awesome location it is and can tell you all about the local hot spots and hidden gems on your appointment.
