Central Peckham and cool Rye Lane is a 15 minute walk, for such delights as Peckham Levels, and The Bussey Building & Copeland Park complex, plus Market Building. Walk a further five minutes to Bellenden Road with its independent high street and lovely shops, cafes and restaurants like Artusi, Ganapati, Flock & Herd and Review book store.

Locally, Nunhead Cemetery is a beautiful Victorian one - one of 'The Magnificent Seven' - with organised tours, and beautiful big trees and views.
