The nearby A40 links Cheltenham and Oxford where it joins the M40 at Junction 8. Recreational pursuits include golf at Naunton Downs, Burford and Cirencester, sailing at the Cotswold Water Park, racing at Cheltenham and hunting with the North Cotswolds. There are many footpaths and bridleways throughout the area.
