This picture postcard property is located in the stunning little hamlet of Tylwch, approx. 3.5 miles from Llanidloes which is an attractive historic market town with its black & white market hall being the oldest timber-framed market hall in Wales! There is a fantastic range of independent shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and local amenities for all ages, including a Leisure Centre with swimming pool. Many buildings in Llanidloes are Listed and the town vibes are of days gone by when everything was more relaxed and at a slower pace.

Llanidloes is steeped in history, from the Chartists uprising of 1839 to the Llyn Clewedog Reservoir & Dam (approx. 6 miles from Llanidloes) where the Ospreys return each year to nest. At Llyn Clewedog you can also fish, enjoy watersports and walk for miles enjoying the stunning countryside.

The beautiful Elan Valley is approx. 12 miles drive (sometimes known as the Welsh Lake District) where you can visit 70 square miles of Dams, by bike, car or foot. The Elan Valley is also known for its clear sky status as there is no light pollution resulting in beautiful view of the stars on a clear night.

The Hafren Forest Trails are great for beautiful woodland walks and is home to the source of the River Severn. This is also only 11 miles from Llanidloes.

Caersws Train Station is approx. 9 miles away and has links to Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth Train Stations.

For schools, both Llanidloes High School and Llanidloes C.P. School are approx. 3.5 miles away.
