The pigeonnier, which flanks this beautiful house, as well as the outbuildings in L shape, where cognac was once produced, (the wine press and a barrel for maturing the 'eau de vie' are still silent witnesses to this) give character and status to the estate.

Cosy streets with lots of nice restaurants and bars, a lively covered market hall where you can taste the local delicacies, an authentic old part of town with several historical gems and in terms of cultural events, Angoulême is the place to be with its famous festivals such as 'circuit des remparts', Festival de la BD, festival of the French-speaking film and Les Gastronomades. The proximity of such a nice city makes living in the Sud-Charente all the more attractive!
