Description

Stepping into the spacious property on Vernier Crescent for the very first time, the current owner of the modern home knew it was right for her. The property, which was built circa 2003 boasts and enviable position facing onto the community green and onto Shenley Wood. The home is in great condition, It also feels spacious and light – it had been well designed, with windows positioned to bring as much natural light in as possible.

SETTING THE SCENE

The property is set back from the road and enjoys a gated entrance.

There is a large driveway for several cars, as well as a double garage.

To the back, the property opens on to a generous garden, which

feature mature planting, twin patio and seating areas which are perfect for entertaining and a high level of privacy

EXCELLENT ARRANGEMENT

Five bedrooms and three bath or shower rooms can be found on

the first floor. The master bedroom is at the back of the house and

has a large en suite bathroom. This is a spacious, comfortable room, with lovely views out over the garden. The guest room is at the front of the house and has French windows and a Juliet balcony. The guest or kids rooms are also excellent as they each have access to a

Jack-and-Jill bathroom. This also means that when guests stay

they can also have exclusive use of the family bathroom so everyone enjoys their privacy.

COMFORTABLE ROOMS

The double-fronted property is entered via a sizeable reception

hall, featuring a striking central staircase up to a galleried landing.

To the right, double doors open into a very generous formal drawing

room, which in turn has doors through into the dining room. “This

has worked very well as it gives two separate living spaces –

one of which is more formal, with the gas fire, and another that is

more relaxing and is where you can dine or have extra sofas to sit on and watch television. For large-scale entertaining, however, these can be

made into one huge space and, in the summer, the doors from the

dining can be opened up on to the garden to allow people to

spill out into the sunshine.

LIGHT AND SPACIOUS

To the left of the entrance hall is the study/family room. you can work from home or use it as a great space for kids to play or a quiet place to sit and read. The windows out over the fields opposite is also a nice feature.

There is a downstairs cloakroom and then the kitchen and dining room, which are open-plan to each other, with a utility room at the end of the kitchen space. These rooms are very light and have the feel of an orangery. This is where you may spend most of your time as a family. There are also French windows from here on to the garden.

PRIVATE GARDEN

The mature garden is a pleasant place to relax and entertain

in the summer months. The large patio is a real sun trap and the pawn and manicured areas are a wonderful place and great for those who are green fingered. At the top of the garden is also a second aptio area. The location of the property also gives your family access to green open spaces. The property enjoys good access to central Milton Keynes, its transport connections and its shopping and leisure facilities. London is also so close – it is very easy to jump on a train and to be there in half an hour.

Keynes where a rail station with links to London can be found. There
