Fantastic, authentic house with an idyllic courtyard. Located in a beautiful French village, near Vézelay, Avallon and Regional Parc the Morvan. Paris 2.5 hours, Calais 500 km and Utrecht 640 km. In the village there is a small supermarket and a cafe/restaurant. Due to its location close to the Canal de Nivernais, the Yonne and Les Rochers du Saussois, you can enjoy numerous activities such as walking, cycling, climbing, fishing and boating.
Culture lovers will also not be short of anything with Vezelay and Avallon in the immediate vicinity. For wine lovers, Chablis is a 45-minute drive away.
You enter the house through the covered part of the courtyard. This is separated from the courtyard with a glass sliding door. You can also use this space as a garage. Through the hall you enter the L-shaped living room, which is adjacent to the kitchen and bathroom. From the kitchen you can reach the courtyard. The courtyard "cour" is a wonderful place to relax, with plenty of space and privacy and always a spot in the sun or in the shade. It is the perfect place to enjoy those long French lunches and/or dinners with family and friends. There are no fewer than 4 bedrooms on the top floor! At the back of the garden there is a second house with a small kitchen, shower and toilet. This space is currently used as storage, but you could possibly turn it into a living space for guests or as a B&B. This house is certainly suitable as a second home, especially because of the easy-to-maintain courtyard garden, it is "lock up and leave"!
