'I have loved living in Penn for the last 13 years and have made many friends. I brought my son up on my own here and he absolutely loved going to the Village school. We have been involved with many activities over the years including the football club and the annual fun run. It's a wonderful place to bring up a family as Penn has a real community spirit feel to it. There are lots of country walks on the doorstep as well as 3 local pubs within staggering distance of Shepherds Cottage. The best thing at Christmas is seeing the tree going up on the common and everybody gathers around it to sing carols. I will really miss living here!'
