Perhaver Park, Gorran Haven

Description

When You Can Have Sand In Your Toes In Only 4 Minutes, Why Limit Yourself To Weekend Trips To The Beach? This spacious single storey home has sea views but is tucked away off the tourist trail. Your family can live the idyllic beachside life everyday.

Whether your new morning routine will include a Wim Hof-style morning dip or a sedate clifftop stroll, this fabulous 5 bedroom house is only a short walk down to Little Perhaver Beach. Even in flip flops.

There may be steps down to the beach but there’s no hiding the fact…however hard you look you won’t find any stairs leading up to the first floor in this house.

It may all be spread out on one floor but it does offer spacious family friendly accommodation on a generous corner plot.

It has four bedrooms, two reception rooms, two bathrooms, a fitted kitchen and a utility room.

The spacious lounge looks out towards the sea, as do the two bedrooms on the front of the house.

The decor, bathroom and kitchen aren't the most modern. But you’ll want to spend as much time as possible outside, enjoying the pretty fishing village rather than staring at your own four walls.

There’s a gorgeous rose garden at the back of the house and a well maintained lawn at the front. If you’re not particularly green-fingered don’t worry, the landlord will pay for a gardener to maintain this for you.

The house is practical too. There’s a double garage with parking on the drive for a couple of cars.

It’s being offered unfurnished but the appliances are included (that’s a new oven & hob, a fridge freezer and a washing machine and tumble drier).

Being family friendly it’s good to know that the nearby Gorran Primary School is rated Outstanding by Ofsted. It’s probably a bit too far to walk but will only take 4 minutes in the car.

Gorran Haven is a small working fishing village that could be perfect if you want to enjoy the beach but don’t want to share it with the tourist hordes.

It’s relatively unknown and far enough away from Mevagissey to avoid the worst of the summertime chaos.

Little Perhaver Beach (the closest beach to the house) will be even quieter than the main Gorran Haven beach near the centre of the village. You can tackle the steps down to the beach or when the tide’s out just walk round from the main beach.

The village has a couple of cafés, shops and a post office along with a chippy with nearly 200 glowing Google reviews.

It’s a bit of a rarity to find a property like this being offered as a long term rental. Most on the coast are now used as holiday lets.

Given the superb location and the shortage of good quality long term rentals we expect this property will get plenty of interest.
