Two kilometres from the house is Mojacar Playa with supermarkets, ice cream parlours, restaurants, banks, private and public doctors' offices, dental practices pharmacies and a secondary school.

Mojacar has a coastline of more than 20 kilometres consisting of rocky coves as well as beautiful sandy beaches. There are also two 18-hole golf courses.

Mojacar has more than 310 days of sunshine a year and daytime temperatures in winter are around 16-22 degrees and in summer between 28 and 32 degrees.

The nearest airport is Almeria about 45 minutes drive, while Murcia International Airport (150 km) is an hour and a half and Alicante airport (200 km) is a two hour drive. Malaga airport is a three hour drive.
