This charming watermill is nestled in the countryside just outside of the lively town of Verteillac. It offers so much scope and potential in many ways, as there is a house plus a gite, large garden and outbuildings.
The main house has 3 spacious, light bedrooms, and a library, a large kitchen/diner, cosy lounge/dining room and two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have lovely marble fireplaces and there is electric central heating and double glazing.
The gite has 3 bedrooms, the lounge has its original fireplace and a kitchen/diner. There are three large barns, one which is attached to the back of the house. The land is 6300m2, there are no close neighbours.
This detached mill would make a great family home but also could easily be used as a bed and breakfast or turned into a quaint watermill restaurant. (with the relevant permissions) The separate barn with new roof has original features and could be made into an attractive venue. Plenty of room for parking. The original water wheel is still in place.
Both houses have terraces with amazing views. Sitting by the rambling river is an ideal place for relaxing, there is also a private island.
