The Sound of Kintyre development is popular due to its proximity to the spectacular Machrihanish beach, and also the Machrihanish and MACC Dunes Golf Courses.  The local airport provides twice daily flights to and from Glasgow,  and the Glasgow bus runs several times a day.  Campbeltown is ten minutes’ drive away, with a good range of amenities including 2 supermarkets, cinema, leisure centre with swimming pool, hospital and health centre, and secondary and primary schools.
