On the outskirts of Castle Cary is the railway station with its direct line to Paddington and the A303 road link is a few miles south.

The cottage has plenty of period features throughout and accommodation including a sitting room, kitchen breakfast room, boot room, cloakroom, two double bedrooms and a shower room.

The sitting room has lovely exposed stone walls, flagstone floors and a decorative brick fireplace in the heart of the room (not working).

The kitchen is at the back of the property and has space for a breakfast table, as well as fitted units, utility area, granite effect worktops, integrated fridge freezer and an electric oven with gas hob and extractor above. A door leads out to the garden from the kitchen. Also off the kitchen is a boot room with steps leading up to a cloakroom at the far end.

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, both with their own built in wardrobes and feature fireplaces. Currently, both bedrooms are serviced by the shower room which is well appointed, having a shower, basin, w/c and heated towel rail.
