Óbidos is a medieval town in centre Portugal and one of the most attractive tourist destinations, despite its quite small resident population (which grows around it in the villages and towns adjacent). Its an old castle town with walls all around it, with very rich history and an incredible degree of preservation. Through its narrow cobbled streets one can find both the atmosphere of old with traditional houses but also a great supply of restaurants and businesses. The town hosts many popular festivals throughout the year, including the famous Chocolate Festival, Medieval Fair and Christmas Village. The Óbidos' Ginjinha, manufactured in the region since the 17th century, is a world renowned liquor and a unique delicacy, present in every café and restaurant in town.

Bombarral is a very quiet and peaceful town in the Leiria municipality. Its arable land makes it an agricultural area primarily and it is famous for its wine, Rocha pears, sweet treats and liquors.
A site of archaeological importance there are pre-historic remnants of human settlements and Neolithic fortifications. Numerous churches, monasteries and manor houses, as well as the 18th century roadway station, make up for an interesting architectonic landscape. The municipality gardens and forest allow for beautiful walks in nature.

Caldas da Rainha is an artistic city in the central region, located close to exquisite coastal beaches and known by its thermal springs. It has incredible accessibility and, as it is mostly flat, offers great quality of life. It has a traditional city centre with cobbled streets, a vibrant fruit and vegetable market, and a bustling shopping area. The city centre boasts a park with an artificial lake, one of the most biodiverse in the country. Every Monday morning there is a thrift market where locals go for bargains. Nine museums, including the pottery museum housed inside a beautiful former palace, celebrate its century old traditions and art.
The rural landscapes on the outskirts of town offer stunning views of rolling hills, lush farmland, and orchards of oranges, olives, apples, and pears.
