Description
It is south facing with a balcony on the first floor and a gated garden in front of it. There is parking for two or three cars. A garage and a car port. The pizza oven is completely functioning.
The ground floor seems dark as one enters in from the sunshine. This is partly due to the panelling that was put round the walls, probably, when it was fashionable. The house was probably restored in the 1950's as it has "graniglia" floors and ceramic in the bathroom.
The very bottom floor consists of a large, central, dining/living room with an eat-in kitchen on one side and a bathroom with tub on the other. There is a storage room off here. The house is heated with central heating that works off the "termo-camino" in the kitchen.
Up the original stone stairs, there is a second reception room with an entrance from the village. It has a working fireplace and French doors onto the balcony.
There are two bedrooms on this floor and a very small bathroom in the understairs room which separates the two bedrooms. There are stairs leading up to the boiler room.
Note that the top floor of the building belongs to another person. This is very common in this area and is flying freehold. It is actually a great advantage to have someone to share any maintenance on the building.
The land is lovely but there is also woodland included in the sale.
The village is awesome and I think the house will have views to the Plain of Lucca, once the trees are cut a little.
