Beyond this there is just under two acres of paddock perfect for those families seeking equestrian usage.

The front of the property is accessed via a gated driveway providing ample off-street
parking which, in turn, leads alongside the property to the triple garage.

Location:

Northwood Lodge is situated on the northern edge of Sherrards Wood. The neighbouring property used to be lived in by the farmer who farmed the land round Digswell place. By road, Welwyn Garden City is less than a 10 minute drive away, where there is a John Lewis department store, the Howard Shopping Centre and mainline railway services to London. On foot, or two wheels, the town can easily be reached via lovely routes through Sherrards Wood. The area is also well served by both state and private schools. The championship golf courses at Brocket Hall are also nearby.
Major transportation links are conveniently placed with the A1(M) junction 6 serving all major motorway networks.

Directions: Travelling from the A1 northbound exit at junction 6. Follow the signs to Welwyn Garden City going back under the motorway and then travel along the dual carriageway turning right at the roundabout on to Bessemer Road. Take the second turning right into Knightsfield driving over a number of speed humps, past Monks Walk Secondary school which is on the right. Take the second right hand turn (Crossway) then left into Monks Wood and drive straight to the top as though you are driving into the woods. Northwood Lodge is on the left hand fork and is the house on the right.
