Description

Set towards the end of this private cul-de-sac and approached via a gravel driveway you will find this rather fine family home. The reception hall is particularly spacious and welcoming and sets the scene for the rest of the generous accommodation. Of particular note is the individually designed kitchen/dining/family room that has 2 sets of bi-folding doors opening onto the garden and patio and is sure to become the hub of family life. Other noteworthy features on the ground floor include the extra large study that can alternatively be used as a 6th bedroom as it has a shower room next to it and the large and well fitted laundry/boot room the was the original kitchen.
On the first floor the principal suite enjoys full height double opening glass doors opening onto a Juliet balcony with glass balustrade offering beautiful views over the rear garden, without getting out of bed.
The current owners are keen gardeners which clearly shows and there is a super terrace for summer entertaining. Set to one side of the house, near to the detached garage and workshop is a Hartley Botanic Greenhouse. At the bottom of the garden is timber studio and storage room, ideal for use as a gym or hobbies room.

Situation

Earleydene is a private road set about 2.3 miles to the south of Ascot High Street and is a very desirable residential address. The High Street offers a good selection of local shopping facilities, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs and the world famous Ascot racecourse sits at one end. More extensive shopping centres can be found in Windsor and Camberley with large Waitrose supermarkets in both Sunningdale and Bagshot. Recreational pass times in the general area include some of the world’s finest and most exclusive golf clubs such as Wentworth, Sunningdale, The Berkshire and Swinley Forest. There are a number of excellent health and tennis clubs, leisure centres, cinemas and theatres along with word class spa hotels and restaurants such as Coworth Park and Penny Hill. You could even try your hand at polo with both the Guards Club and the Royal County of Berkshire Club being nearby.
From the commuters perspective the M3 is around 2.7 miles away, Ascot station about 2 miles and Terminal 5 at Heathrow about 16 miles distant.
As far as schooling is concerned there is an excellent choice with Charters being a very sought after state option along with highly regarded private schools such as St. Mary’s, St. Georges, LVS Ascot, Hall Grove, The Marist, Wellington and Eton Colleges and the American Community School in Egham.
