The Camporomano property is a historic residence located in Massarosa, renowned for its inestimable cultural and landscape value and immersed in a naturalistic oasis in the enchanting scenery of the Versilia countryside. Currently used as a farm, the property extends over 50 hectares of olive groves which house the majestic manor house, the rustic farmhouses renovated and converted for hospitality and a large swimming pool. The 6 residential units that make up the complex were built following the conservative restoration of the ancient farmhouses and have been furnished with period furniture to preserve their charm and atmosphere. All units also have an independent entrance and a private equipped outdoor space.

Through a long path lined with olive trees, you arrive at the main villa, surrounded by lush gardens and majestic horse chestnut trees. A large lawn, ideal for summer refreshments, extends up to the scenic stone staircase, which leads to the main villa, which is spread over three levels and enjoys a beautiful panoramic view of the hills and the sea. The side entrance allows you to reach the ground floor, consisting of a welcoming hallway, a dining room, a kitchen with fireplace and two rooms used as a study. A graceful staircase leads to the first floor which opens onto a large living room overlooking the wonderful main lawn and the dining room overlooking the Italian garden. The level is completed by four other rooms that can be customized according to your needs and three bathrooms. Continuing upstairs we find other bedrooms connected to each other through internal doors.
Via a small path adjacent to the main villa, it is possible to reach the swimming pool, an ideal place for moments of relaxation and a secret viewpoint, hidden by ancient box hedges.

Location and surroundings

Camporomano allows you to reach the center of Massarosa, the coast of Viareggio and Lucca in a few minutes. Furthermore, Florence is just over an hour away, while Pisa is only 25 minutes away. Equally easily reachable are the picturesque coastal towns of Forte dei Marmi, Massa Carrara and the Cinque Terre. The origins

The origins of Camporomano date back to Roman times, when the area hosted a Roman Castrum from which the complex takes its name.The area was developed as an agricultural settlement and summer residence of the noble families of Lucca, including that of the Garzoni marquises, who contributed to the current architectural structure of the residential complex.
