Plaxtol (about 1.5 miles) has a local post office and convenience store and Borough Green (3 miles) has a selection of shops. More comprehensive shopping facilities are available in Sevenoaks and Tonbridge town centres. Bluewater shopping centre is within 15 miles.

Sevenoaks station (5.5 miles) has fast and frequent services to London Charing Cross/Cannon Street (London Bridge from 22 minutes). Borough Green station (3 miles) offers services to London Victoria/London Charing Cross (London Bridge from 37 mins)
