A piece of history from Lagoa´s city. Built in 1908, (2 years before the fall of the Portuguese monarchy) this building was part from the 2 palaces ofered by the "Viscount of Lagoa" to his 2 daughters... 1 palace for each daughter. This mansion in question is the only one that has stood the test of time and urban development and fortunately still displays original elements from when it was built, such as the ornate wrought iron window guards, interior doors and even flourished plaster finishings on the ceilings, among many others. Today there is an approved project for the construction of 5 apartments where a large part of the building's main facade and some of the period finishings used at the time were respected, like for example: the solid stone staircase.
