Our home is a private but not remote, very light and airy villa with panoramic views, swimming pool and located in a highly sought after area close to the lake. We are just 15 minutes from the Unesco World Heritage City of Tomar and only a short distance from the tranquil river beaches at Vila Nova. Serra is our local village 1.6 km away. A nice walk! Here we have 3 bar/restaurants, para-pharmacy, doctor, butcher, garage, builders merchant and a great shop that's sells everything from a mop to frozen food.

Our house has generous interior spaces and a large plot of 3700m2 of land.The house is set back from the road and in a great location.

The property is really well insulated, double glazed and therefore; dry, warm and comfortable.
The house and pool are both licensed and legal.

Large living room with a pellet stove 3 large windows and a patio door making it very light and airy. A double arch leads to a spacious dining room that opens to the kitchen. A bright, well laid out, high quality Keller kitchen that is an absolute pleasure to cook and entertain in. The ceiling has wooden beams and is 3m high at the peak so with its 3 large windows overlooking the woods to the rear and a glazed door to the rear terrace, it makes a very light and airy space.
Taking the staircase off the lounge and you come up to a good sized room currently used as an office. Access to the master bedroom. This is a lovely room (36m2) with 2 large double windows overlooking the countryside. A great place to wake up in, sit in bed with a coffee (or tea) and admire the views. Doorway to a dressing room that leads to an en-suite, wood panel and tiled bathroom with bathtub/shower, WC, bidet and sink.
From the office a doorway leads to the guest accommodation. This area can be closed from the rest of the accommodation. So, if you wished to do B&B, there is direct access to the pool terrace, summer kitchen and 2nd vehicle access.

The land is fully enclosed and has two gated entrances. The main entrance has a 4m sliding gate plus a separate pedestrian entrance.

There has been extensive planting and the flower beds and gardens are well on the way to being beautiful.

The property has a well, a borehole and town water. At present we use the borehole for everything. it has never run dry.
