As our first home together, we really wanted to make it our own. We saw the potential the house had as soon as we walked though the door, with the rare double aspect rooms for a terraced house and great sized garden.
We've spent so much time, blood, sweat and tears making this house our home over the past 6 years. With the help of family, the whole house was gutted and we started from scratch with everything. We put in a new bathroom and kitchen, including the boiler.
Replaced the ceilings upstairs, felted the roof, new carpets, paint and completely landscaped the garden.
The location is perfect, with a variety of shops and takeaways nearby and the 17 bus just a few minutes walk away. We both use the leisure facilities at Palmer Park down the road and have a selection of parks nearby for when family and friends come over.
Having a local, quiet pub over the road also gives the area a great sense of community.
The garden is a favourite spot for us, holding the sun all day in summer and the perfect place for a BBQ!

You'd be forgiven for skimming past this unassuming house from the front, but open the door and you're greeted by swathes of light flooding through from all angles, and an awesome renovation by the current owners. They've managed to create such a seamless flow throughout and every inch of the house is gorgeously charming. There's a lovely big entrance hall to welcome you in, with the living/dining room to one side with dual aspect windows, a kitchen to the other also with windows on both ends and a bathroom sandwiched in the middle.. also with a window! Upstairs, both bedrooms are big doubles and the main bedroom has cleverly fitted storage on either side of the chimney breast - there's a dual aspect to both rooms as well so it really is flooded with light. The garden has been fully landscaped, it's absolutely stunning and faces south so it's a sun trap all day long.

St Peter's Road is in a prime location with easy access to great schools including the highly regarded Maiden Erleigh secondary school and St Peters C of E and Alfred Sutton primary schools. A short walk away you'll find the Three Tuns Crossroads which has day to day amenities including co-op convenience store, M&S food store and The Three Tuns Pub. From here the 17 bus runs every 7-8 minutes into Reading town centre giving fast and convenient access to Reading mainline train station for commuting into London. The A329m leading to M4 junction 10 is around a ten minute drive away. minute walk down the road you'll find Palmer Park which has the newly refurbished leisure centre including swimming pool, running track, gym and soft play.
