Description

Harlescott is a suburb of Shrewsbury a delightful town set in the stunning county of Shropshire, an area which offers some of the most beautiful scenery in England. The town of Shrewsbury is steeped in history and is linked to many notable figures including Charles Darwin. Inextricably linked to the River Severn which flows around and through the town offering lovely walks.

Shrewsbury offers an abundance of local amenities as you would expect in a large town of this type. There are many good schools making this ideal for a family with children still in education.

The town also offers great transport links both with rail connecting to Birmingham, Chester and Bristol as well as the A5 connecting to the motorway network via the M54 and the A49 heading both North and South.

The property was built 2000 and so has all the benefits of modern build however was constructed to be in keeping with the remainder of the Crescent, built in the 1920's.

The road is unadopted, however the vendor has paid to make good the road outside, as have several of the other owners.

The property is approached via a gravel drive leading to the side access and the main property entrance.

As you step into the property you find yourself in a generous hallway with engineered oak floor that is laid throughout the ground floor. The accommodation includes a guest WC/Utility, study/office and a contemporary kitchen with granite work surfaces and walls of exposed brick. A bright lounge with French doors out to the rear garden, separate dining room with double doors to lounge and door to the study.

The first floor offers generous accommodation including four double bedrooms and wonderful bathroom offering a touch of luxury and space with bath and separate walk in shower.

We understand from the vendor that there is scope and existing plumbing to add an ensuite.

Outside the property has all the benefits of a corner plot having a garden that wraps around the property which is mainly laid to lawn and having a decked seating area outside the French doors.
